2023-05-14 11:44:47Politikë SHKRUAR NGA REDAKSIA VOX

The mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, who is running for another term, at the head of the capital's municipality, voted together with his wife.

Mayor Veliaj has called on citizens to go to the polls after the electronic problem has been fixed.

Erion Veliaj : "I am aware of the fact that we have had some breakdowns, I wouldn't say dramatic. I'm glad we have a decision. The right of citizens to vote must always prevail. The invitation for all citizens who may have been discouraged, especially for those who are older, is to return to the voting centers.

It is very important that everyone gets out to vote. It's the fate of the city for the next 4 years, it's the city's projects at stake. I look forward to seeing this process through smoothly.

I want to thank the other 5 candidates, wish them health for their families. The race is now over. I wish them much success, but I also thank all the citizens that it was one of the calmest campaigns. Those who are in charge of this process continue calmly, it is very important for Tirana to win".
