Voting in Himara

In Himara, a high interest of voters has appeared since the first hours of the opening of the voting process. It should be noted that the process has started in 36 centers of the Municipality of Himara.

Problems have been encountered in three of them, as they do not know how to turn on the device. Likewise, there was a lack of technical operators. It is reported, among other things, that two buses with voters have arrived from Greece, for the day of the local elections.

Jorgo Goro from the SP and Fredi Beleri from the "Bashke Fitomje" coalition are competing for the Himar Municipality. Fredi Beleri was arrested at midnight on Friday, accused of being involved in electoral corruption.

The court also decided to send his file to the Special Prosecutor's Office Against Organized Crime and Corruption, as the competent prosecutor's office for the investigation of election corruption.

Along with Beleri, Pandeli Kokaveshi is also in handcuffs, as collaborators in the mayoral candidate's attempt to buy votes.
