For the first time in 32 years of democracy, the Municipality of Shkodra was won by the left. In the local elections of May 14, SP candidate Benet Beci managed to win with over 10 thousand votes difference over his rival Bardh Spahia.

After the historic victory, the Socialist Party of Shkodra has organized a grand celebration with all its sympathizers. The new mayor Benet Beci and the political leader of the SP for Shkodra District Elisa Spiropali could not be absent from this celebration.

In a video that is circulating on social networks, Beci and Spiropali appear dancing together in a fiery atmosphere, while the verses of the song "I fell in love with you" are heard in the background.
