The opposition and the majority join the votes, the agreement for the Buna bridge is approved!

In a parliamentary session that did not last more than 1 hour, the opposition and the majority joined the votes approving the agreement between Albania and Montenegro for the construction of the bridge over Buna.

This project was approved with 92 votes in favor, the 300-meter bridge over the Buna river is expected to be completed 18 months after the tendering process is completed.

This project will be co-financed by both governments and will shorten the distances between Velipoja and Ulcinj from 73 km to 300 m.

Based on this agreement, the border point Saint Nicholas-Pulaj will serve as the border point for the Bridge over the Buna River.

The cost of the bridge and the border point will go up to 20 million euros and will be divided 50% by 50%.

Meanwhile, the draft law for the ratification of the loan agreement between Albania and the German government was approved with 72 votes.
