The mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, has reacted again from the prison cell, through a video posted on the social network "Tik-Tok".
Veliaj says that he is not losing hope, as he waits for justice to do its job. In the posted video, he mocks the decision not to change security measures, saying he feels praised for being considered "dangerous".
"We are not losing hope and we are praying that justice will do its job.
No change in the measures of arrest again. Do you really think I'm that dangerous? I would be offended if I didn't enjoy it.
The year 2025 made me feel like a sudden threat. I am taking note", writes Veliaj.
