Florjan Binaj, the independent, opposition-backed candidate for mayor of Tirana, has made an appeal to citizens, emphasizing the importance of the upcoming elections for the capital.

"The opportunity to serve you is the greatest honor of my life," Binaj writes on social media, describing Tirana not simply as a city where we live, but as a home that we will leave to our children.

He calls on citizens to reflect on the future during the vote and choose the path of change away from corruption, concreteness, and patronage.

"We have two paths ahead of us: corruption and concrete, or change with honest and professional people," he stressed.

Binaj invites citizens to join him on this path of change, believing that together they can transform Tirana into a better city for all.
