A tense moment occurred on the floor of the Parliament, as Democratic MP Klevis Balliu clashed with the Deputy Speaker of the Parliament Klodiana Spahiu.

As Balliu approached the podium, Spahiu insisted that she had taken away Balliu's right to speak for today and asked him to sit down, due to a measure against him.

However, Balliu refused, turning to Spahiu, and at one point there was even intervention by the Republican Guard.

In an attempt to calm tensions, Spahiu ordered a 5-minute recess of the session.
