The Socialist MP, Erion Braçe, in harsh tones from the floor of the Assembly, brought some concerns that Albanian citizens and farmers face today.
Braçe returned to the opposition regarding the reaction in the hall for the arrest of two MOH officials, Braçe said that the time has come when officials are arrested for violations and not like before when he was in charge of DP.
Among other things, he said that although the prices are reduced in the world markets, this reduction is not reflected in the Albanian markets. He also brought a concern from the area of Myzeqe, while he did not spare criticism for the Ministry of Agriculture, regarding the problem with the locusts in this area that eat the crops.
" In this hall, you can cry, you can swear, it makes you a deputy. Finally, in this room, we are talking about
court decisions and corrupt people, who are definitely among us, but who are arrested. To be honest, from 2005 to 2013, not one minister was arrested. A deputy minister arrested with the exception of a Christian Democrat and a director arrested with the exception of one LSI. As if no one stole at that time.
It works for internal war, but not for doing justice. As I heard a little earlier from a colleague here about the cement factories, but you know that corruption had reached the top of those cement factories. They have been granted licenses by Act of Parliament. Every quarry in Kruja is closed by law, but those that are by law of the parliament made here 1 year before they ran away from power, were made by this law.
Ti Dashi said we will all answer to God. I apologize for taking up so much of your time with trivial matters. Food prices around us have fallen by 22.1%. Cereal prices fell by 4% compared to April. Have you verified that the price of oil has fallen or of other products? No! So I think that more important than cursing and pointing fingers at everyone, is to make the economy work. As long as the prices do, they should be reflected in the citizens.
The second concern I have is with an important fact that has to do with the contamination of agricultural lands in Myzeqe. Even this year they are not allowing the farmers to deal with another cycle because of the ground locust. I plant the plant today, the grasshopper eats it tomorrow. That's how serious the situation is.
I spoke in the Assembly in February for the responsible ministry to take measures and today I confirmed how insignificant the role of the deputy is. As long as no one listens to you. When you raise a problem, they deal with you and not with people's problems. Now there is an expression from a movie about what should be done to the garden at this moment, but there is still time for that ," Braçe said.
