The vice president of the Democratic Party, Jorida Tabaku, has indicated that it will be the Presidency that will decide whether or not she will be the next president of the party.

Tabaku said in an interview for Panorama TV that the parliamentary group will meet on Monday, while the Presidency of the DP will meet on Tuesday.

"What matters is how we get out of this situation, not the interest of my chair or anyone else," she said.

Jorida Tabaku:  "The parliamentary group will meet on Monday, while the Presidency will meet on Tuesday. I have been in PD since I was 16 years old. There were no official positions. In September 2021, I became vice president in a difficult situation. We took time together with Bardhi to listen to everyone. I will leave this decision to the presidency. What matters is how we get out of this situation, not the interest of my chair or anyone else."

Before the campaign, Basha said that he would commit himself, but he got nowhere. Did you start your political life after May 14?

Jorida Tabaku:  "Basha is doing well that he is speaking, it seems that he has spoken before. I believe that when the presidency has a decision, we will see what we will do now. I cannot discuss everyone's ambitions, only my ambitions , I don't know Basha's plans."
