Roland Bejko does not aim for the position of the chairman of the Democratic Party.

In the show "Zone e Lirë", Bejko, the former democratic candidate for the Municipality of Tirana in the local elections of May 14, said that he has the ambition to be a deputy in the parliament.

Between Lulzim Basha and Gazment Bardhi at the head of the DP, Bejko said that he is waiting for the candidates to be announced and to listen to their programs.

"In fact, none of them has announced their candidacy. I will wait for the candidates to be announced and then I will decide. After I really hear which of the candidates will have their platform closest to my ideas and my vision that I have for the new Democratic Party. No, I'm not running.

I ran for Tirana because I had three reasons. No, I do not hide my ambition, I had it and I have it to be in the parliament. Sarkozy says, to become a party leader or head of state, you need a long time to prepare. I miss the network within the Democratic Party, valuable for becoming a party leader", declared Bejko.
