The municipality of Gjirokastra has canceled the tender for the treatment and sterilization of dogs. This decision was taken by the mayor Flamur Golemi

This tender, worth 14 million ALL, was originally held on March 2, 2023, but the mayor Flamur Golemi postponed it twice, until the documents were completed, and it was decided to take place at the end of June.

Golemi made the 3rd formal announcement on July 24, 2023, while on August 14 the final cancellation was made, with the reason that no offer was presented in all 3 times.

A similar tender, for housing and sterilization of dogs "sunk" the mayor of Kukës, Safet Gjici. In violation of the rules, he gave this tender to citizen Alma K. as the latter filmed him during the sexual act with Gjici in his office.
