The Parliament is holding its next plenary session today, where the agenda includes several draft laws for discussion and voting.

Among the most important are the bill for medical students and cannabis for medical purposes.

According to the bill, medical students after completing their studies will have to work in the country for 5 years in order to receive the diploma. According to the government, this is done to prevent the departure of young doctors from Albania. Some students oppose this initiative.

Even the opposition opposes both the draft law on Medicine and the one on medical cannabis.

A day ago, the chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, warned that they will ask the Parliament to hold an interpellation with the Prime Minister about the incinerators. The Conference of Chairmen that met two days ago rejected the opposition's demands for an urgent interpellation and a motion with a debate with the Prime Minister about the incinerators.
