Another clash has started within the official Democratic Party, this time it is about the use of the party seal.

The leadership of the Party has decided to transfer the official seal to the secretary for legal and electoral affairs, Indri Sefa, and not to the general secretary Gazment Bardhi.

Bardhi had a reaction to this decision of the Presidency. Bardhi says that this is a ridiculous action and act under the effect of desperation.

Gazment Bardhi's reaction:

I am not in the habit of commenting on ridiculous actions and acts under the effect of desperation.

But for your curiosity: The seal is administered according to article 8 of the Statute and order no. 218, dated 07.11.2019 of the Chairman of the Party; while the documentation, archiving, and protocol is done according to Article 21 of the Party Statute and the rules approved with instruction no. 8, dated 19.01.2020 of the Secretary General.

The Party's statute cannot be changed by decision of the Presidency, and even less by a decision without a quorum of the Presidency!

The statute is the common will of about 7,000 members of the National Assembly of DP. For this reason, for the developments in the DP, refer only to the provisions of the Statute, because these days I can come to you with signed letters any decision for the seizure by the "Head of the DP" of the crown of the King of England!

But what was not noticed was the signature of MP Oriola Pampuri who supports Lulzim Basha to become the chairman of the Democratic Party.

Out of haste or to increase numbers, the MP has signed twice to receive the stamp of the DP from Gazment Bardhi to pass, Indrit Sefa. A different pen ink was even used. 

Lulzim Basha is expected to be re-elected chairman of the Democratic Party on July 29, according to a process that has raised many questions and has been opposed by a good part of the leadership and deputies of the Democratic Party of Vula.

With this decision of the Presidency, the party's seal will no longer be administered by the General Secretary, the party's number two, as it has been until now. But, in his reaction, Bardhi says that the Party's constitution is not changed by the decision of the Presidency.
