Prime Minister Edi Rama says that 55 cases of arson have been found this year, while 62 perpetrators have been criminally prosecuted.

In a social media post congratulating the police, Rama does not spare the attacks on prosecutors, whose approach to arsonists he calls "scandalous".

Rama calls on the justice inspection bodies to monitor the activity of these prosecutors and judges.

"I appeal to the justice inspection bodies and supervise the activity of prosecutors and judges, not to make a sting against these individuals unworthy to serve the law of the Republic of Albania," Rama writes.

The State Police is doing an admirable job of detecting and catching the perpetrators of the horrific arson crime in forests, olive groves and green areas.

In 79 cases of arson this year, 55 were made, with 62 perpetrators prosecuted.

Twenty arsonians are in prison arrest, while others are being pursued in free condition, but still lack full punishment, as a result of the scandalous and shamelessly irresponsible approach of some prosecutors and judges in the districts, who apparently have no homeland, no religion, no din or iman, which restrains them in their crime of anti-legal indifference to a crime like arson on such a precious property, All of the children of Albania, and all of humanity.

With the changes we have made in recent years to the Criminal Code, forest arson is punishable up to 15 years in prison and in the bowl of this bad state prosecutors without a homeland, there are up to a few others who have announced in the past years until the start of the criminal case for arsonists at all.

I appeal to the justice inspection bodies and supervision of the activity of prosecutors and judges, not to make a sting against these individuals unworthy to serve the law of the Republic of Albania

I also appeal to prosecutors and judges who have in their hands the above cases to strictly enforce the law and to stand up for God this wealth placed in generations, which belongs to future generations, as well as to the whole of humanity.
