The chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, shared the March 3 protest spot on social networks.
The main role in the spot is played by actress Rajmonda Bulku, who represents "Mother Albania". Bulku calls on Albanians not to allow the corrupt government to silence them and take away their freedom.
In his response on Facebook, Berisha, in addition to the video, calls on citizens to join the opposition protest on March 3.
"Eagles fly high, but always return to the nest! March 3, at 12.00 in front of the Prime Minister's Office", writes Berisha.
Excerpts from Rajmonda Bulku's performance:
My Albanian sons, I am Mother Albania, I am an old lady and my eyes have seen the whole history of the world. Difficulties have caused us to be hot-tempered, but in the world we are known as missionaries of love, So I tell you that I am in my most difficult days that I see my children killed by poverty, tearful when I see the empty house that my children have fled around the world. What hurts me is that my sons have given up on Albania.
Don't hate your mother, my sons, but hate those who made us suffer like this. Our house is beautiful and rich, but it is a house stolen by traitors who only want money. These are the same people who today want to steal their freedom and silence them.
