The people of Shkodran have remembered today the 78th anniversary of the first anti-communist uprising in Albania, that of Postriba. Residents of the area, intellectuals of Shkodra and senior representatives of the Democratic Party were present at this activity.
But at one point, the mayor Benet Beci also went there, who could not even wait to finish singing the national anthem, because the residents started to demand his departure in chorus.
"Go away, go away, you have no face", the residents can be heard saying in chorus, until the socialist mayor decides to leave in his car.
The Democrats have considered the presence of Benet Beci in this activity, for the commemoration of the first anti-communist uprising of Albania, as a provocation, as a representative of a power that has persecuted Shkodra and the people of Shkodra.
