The head of the DP Parliamentary group Gazmend Bardhi has said that the main demand of his Party is the creation of a technical government before the 2025 parliamentary elections.

Invited to the show "Breaking" with Fiori Dardha on Top News, he also said that the Political Leadership of the Fieri District is a new responsibility for him and that it was not his choice but that of the DP chairman, Sali Berisha.  

"Political management in all districts is the competence of the party chairman and each of us takes that responsibility, where the Democratic Party judges that we are most valuable. The chairman of the party has judged that I should give my contribution as it belongs to the electoral body of the democratic party in the district of Fier and without question I have accepted. I exercise this responsibility that has been assigned to me between Elbasan addressed to the year 2021.

 Asked which is the most difficult district, considering that Fieri is also the largest district after Tirana and is known as a bastion of socialists, he says that Elbasan has been a difficult district because of the gangs, which according to him have was in the PS electoral headquarters.

"I think that the campaign is the same, it is the same everywhere, but of course certain districts have certain specifics. Elbasan was my first campaign and I am eternally grateful to the citizens of Elbasan district for the trust and support they gave us in 2021 in completely difficult conditions. The democratic party was facing the most dangerous exponents of organized crime operating in the country, and subsequent developments and the SPAK files proved this. A significant part of those who have been arrested for ordering murders or for various murders, or who are on the run and wanted for these issues, were the electoral headquarters of the socialist party in 2021, in the district of Elbasan, therefore my gratitude will to be eternal for the citizens of the district of Elbasan for the support, for the work they did, in completely difficult conditions. Of course, the Fier district has the same specifics to some extent, but personally I remain determined to do the best for the democratic party. I am convinced that we will do the best for Albania, for the citizens of the district of Fier a good result would be called for example 9 to 6. We do not yet know what the Freedom Party will do, which has a deputy, has received a deputy in the district of Fern in 2021 shin. Taking into account the results of 2009, 9 to 6 and then it was considered a good result.

Bardhi says that the main demand of his Party, but also the need of Albania, is a technical government without Edi Rama as Prime Minister.  

"First we will have to understand that this is not a request of the Democratic Party, but it is a need of Albania to enable us to have free and fair elections in 2025. It is unacceptable that the will of the citizens is deformed by the interventions of organized crime in the elections. It is unacceptable that the will of citizens is influenced by corruption money that is used in elections. It is unacceptable that the state administration, an electoral army of the ruling party, is unacceptable that the money from the state budget that will have to go to investments for the benefit of citizens is used to distort their free will. In this sense, a technical government would ensure the equality of the parties in the elections. It would be a great guarantee for free and fair elections. I judge that in 2025 it is no longer possible for Albania, both as a NATO member country and as a candidate country for the European Union, to hold elections where the OSCE determines that the freedom of voting has been violated or that it has merged into one state and the party in power.
