Prime Minister Edi Rama declared through a post on social media that Albania supports Trump's efforts to prevent the regime in Tehran from possessing nuclear weapons.

“This is not just another nuclear state. Nor is it a dictatorship with nuclear ambitions. It is a theocracy, armed with apocalyptic rhetoric, steeped in 70 years of propaganda that portrays free nations as “satanic,” and openly calls for their destruction. By any standard, it is a dangerous aberration, unlike any other nuclear-armed state, regardless of its political system.

"As a nation that has emerged from the darkness of an atheist and oppressive regime, as a proud member of the free world and as a strategic partner of the United States, Albania fully supports President Trump's sincere efforts to prevent the theocratic regime in Tehran from ever acquiring nuclear weapons ," Rama wrote on social media.
