Prime Minister Edi Rama will host today in Tirana the leaders of the region and the EU Commissioner for Enlargement and Good Neighbourhood, Oliver Varhelyi, as part of the preparations being made for the Berlin Process Summit.

The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, will not participate in the meeting as he is in Greece for the 25th edition of the International Symposium. Meanwhile, according to the media, it is known that Deputy Prime Minister Besnik Bislimin will come in his place.

The leaders of the region, the Prime Minister of Montenegro Dritan Abazovic, the Prime Minister of RMV Dimitar Kovacevski, the Prime Ministers of Bosnia and Serbia, Ana Bernabic, have confirmed their participation in the meeting.

This meeting was announced by Edi Rama during the Balkan tour held a few days ago, while at the NATO Summit in Lithuania Rama also confirmed a visit by French President Emmanuel Macron. On December 6, 2022, the summit of the Western Balkans and the European Union was held in Tirana.
