" In Tirana, those who oppose development are protesting, while in Vlora, those who directly benefit from it are supporting it ," said Prime Minister Edi Rama in an interview with French television station France24 .

In this interview, Prime Minister Rama emphasized that the country's development remains the priority of the mandate given by Albanian citizens and that the public debate is influenced by many foreign interventions.

According to Prime Minister Rama, the strongest support for development projects comes precisely from the communities where these projects are expected to be implemented, reflecting, according to him, a more direct connection between economic development and local interest.
