Prime Minister Edi Rama lashed out at British politicians, telling them to "shut their damn mouths" when they talk about Albanian immigrants in the United Kingdom.

"Our ambassador came by speedboat and today he is an ambassador. Small boats have brought many people with dreams, ambitions and who do honor to British society. What matters is that at least our Albanian community here is giving enough to Britain for British politicians who label Albanians to shut up, to shut that damn mouth, and not to mention Albanians for anything other than very good things," said Rama in his speech at the Chatham House panel, on the topic "The Western Balkans and the European Union.

"Because Albanians are working hard and are proud to be part of this community. So whoever touches them should shut that damn mouth," Rama declared.
