Prime Minister Rama visits Tirana Municipality for the second time in a day

Following the arrest of Erion Veliaj, Antuela Ristani has been ordered to take over the leadership of the Municipality of Tirana, as long as the current mayor is behind bars.

To date, Ristani has held the position of Deputy Mayor of Tirana.

Meanwhile, Alban Dokushi has been appointed as administrator to advance the municipality's projects. Both Ristani and Dokushi are considered among Mayor Veliaj's most trusted people.

This decision came on Tuesday evening, when Prime Minister Edi Rama went back to Tirana Municipality, which he had visited in the early hours of the morning.

Before going to the Municipality to hold a meeting with the vice-mayors and directors, Rama met with the SP delegates at the Tirana Hotel.

At the Assembly meeting, he is said to have said that he will take over Tirana himself, while regarding Erion Veliaj, he said let's wait for the evidence.

Meanwhile, he asked the delegates to work harder than "yesterday" to win the capital from this electoral attack.

Regarding Tirana, apart from the political aspect, it is learned from those present that Rama has also had a role in the management of the Tirana Municipality, for which he has said that he will pay attention to all the affairs and decisions of the capital's municipality.
