Prime Minister Edi Rama going to Tirana Municipality

Prime Minister Edi Rama was seen this evening returning to the premises of the Tirana Municipality, an institution that already has Mayor Erion Veliaj in custody on SPAK charges of money laundering, concealment of assets and corruption.

Unlike the morning visit, this evening Rama was seen surrounded by a large number of people as he walked through Skanderbeg Square, then headed to Tirana City Hall.

Rama has stated that his political force will change its stance towards SPAK, speaking publicly about the criticism, unlike what it did before, choosing silence.

We recall that after Veliaj's arrest, Andi Seferi was appointed head of the capital's municipality.
