Rama to judges: History has never seen judges say they will take the money

Prime Minister Edi Rama has reacted again to the clash over salaries in the justice system. Sharing the statement of Judge Engert Pëllumbi during a television interview that "the amount of money for salary increases is the same as the GJKKO confiscates from organized crime every year", Rama says that judges cannot claim that the money confiscated from them is theirs for salary increases.

The head of government calls this stance unacceptable, saying that "the history of the world has never seen judges say we will take the money ourselves from the state treasury."

Edi Rama's statement

No, a judge can never speak like that! The history of the world has never seen judges say they will take the money themselves from the state treasury because it is ours, and this "we collected it ourselves" is a separate offense due to the terrifying level of ignorance about the functioning of the state.

Let's imagine if customs and tax officials, police and inspectors showed up and said we want the money we ourselves collected in the state treasury from taxes and fines!

What then remains for the teachers, doctors, military personnel, and countless others who serve thousands of state duties, for which they are paid by the treasury?

And if this increase, demanded without law, is accepted as a fait accompli, it is expected that compared to a teacher, a doctor, a soldier, a starting judge will receive 3.8 times more or a 280% higher salary. You can't even imagine how much more the others above.
