Thousands of protesters gathered this Friday in "Skënderbej" Square in Tirana.

Participants of all ages, in a square dressed in red and black, these are the images that come from this rally that unites Albanians in support of the former leaders of the KLA.

Also present at this protest is the son of former president Hashim Thaçi.

Meanwhile, the President of the Republic, Bajram Begaj, has expressed his full support for the Kosovo Liberation Army, describing it as the foundation of the freedom of the state of Kosovo and the pride of Albanian national history.

"The KLA is the foundation of Kosovo's freedom. It is the pride of our national history. No one can undo this legacy of bravery, sacrifice and heroism ," President Begaj wrote in a post on the social network Facebook, accompanied by photos from the massive protest held in Tirana in support of former KLA fighters.
