Prime Minister Edi Rama spoke on "Albania Live" about the latest situations in the country.

"We are not here to show who is stronger than who has and who does not have support, it is not a game or a sport, it is a very serious agreement with the Albanian people, it is a contract that must be implemented according to the program, for which the people voted for us. We are not here to show who you are, or who we are. Some were elected to vote and advance a historic EU membership project, and some have chosen to protest against them," Rama said.

Au also spoke about the citizens' protest and the 35th anniversary celebration of the Socialist Party, which will be held at the same time.

"I'm very sorry, but first of all, we planned all these months, long before this protest appeared. June 12 is the birth of the Socialist Party, they couldn't postpone the birthday because there was a protest. The time is appropriate for the fact that we are no longer at the previous temperatures and I can't ask people to gather in the sun. We will end it much faster. There is neither provocation nor confrontation here, this is democratic life," he said.
