Outgoing Socialist MP, Petro Koçi , has commented publicly for the first time on the style of some of the new Socialist Party MPs , who emerged from the May 11 elections, considering some of their behavior as inappropriate for the party's image.
Invited to A2 , Koçi focused particularly on the case of Zegjine Çaushi in the Fier District, who went viral on social networks for her stinging videos against Gazment Bardhi .
"She has done something that is exaggerated and is a waste of personality on a scale that I think should not be repeated again. This is not the image of the SP. The SP is a serious party," Koçi said.
According to him, although social networks have gained a lot of ground in political communication, the way public representatives behave on them should not compromise the seriousness and image of the team.
"I don't think this should be the SP's campaign line. Today, social media decides a lot, obviously, but things need to be done differently," he said.
Asked whether the young people who emerged from the last elections are the future of the SP, Koçi said that this will depend on the path they follow and the political training they receive.
"As a generation they are the future, but as individuals it will depend. Some of them will be truly talented because they will also be trained and matured," he concluded.
