The Democratic Party wants to be represented by two members in the Electoral Administration Zone Commission in Kukës.

DP appealed today the decision of the CEC, claiming that based on the last result in the local elections of May 14, the third party was ranked and therefore it should be represented by two members, and not one as decided by the CEC.

In recent days, it has been rumored that for the candidate for mayor in Kukës, Basha's DP and Berisha's grouping are negotiating for a joint candidate, however, so far there is nothing concrete.

The elections in Kukës are repeated after the dismissal of Safet Gjic, who was the protagonist of a video of a sexual scandal in the office of the Municipality, newly certified by him.
