The meeting held between Flamur Noka and Ilir Meta to reach an agreement to compete together in the 2025 elections, will not be the last.

The chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, explained during a press conference that the discussions are still open, although the ally of the Freedom Party declared that he prefers his list and logo in the elections.

"These are discussions, there is no submitted project. The discussions at this stage are totally focused on our cooperation for general protests and the creation of the technical government. This is our topic of discussion", said Berisha.

Berisha does not try to hide that he prefers a joint list of the opposition coalition, but when asked if he will reward Ilir Meta with safe seats, to return the debt of making the party available in recent years when the seal and logo of DP were with Basha, the chief democrat talks about cooperation in common interest.

"Ilir Meta does not need a reward. Ilir Meta is consolidated as the third largest party in the country. What the coalition will be, but not a reward, with mutual bilateral interest will be examined in the coming times".
