Prime Minister Edi Rama has revealed two major projects in the field of energy, during the meeting with the Minister of Industry and Technology of the United Arab Emirates, Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber.

Rama has revealed the plan, apparently for the transformation of the Albanian Electricity Corporation and its merger with MAZDAR, an Abu Dhabi-based state-owned company founded by Al Jaber.

Prime Minister Edi Rama also says that the construction of the underwater power transmission line with Italy will begin.

"New York - With my precious friend Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology of the United Arab Emirates, for the two major energy projects that we are finalizing together, the creation of the joint energy production company KESH&MAZDAR, which there will be a new ambitious portfolio of investments in Albania and in the region, and secondly, the construction of the underwater power transmission line with Italy, in a tripartite cooperation Albania-EBA-Italy", announced Rama.
