Prime Minister Edi Rama and the President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani

The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, said that with Prime Minister Edi Rama they discussed "future processes on the international agenda, with a focus on the NATO Summit and the Berlin Process Summit".

The meeting started about an hour ago, immediately after Prime Minister Edi Rama arrived in Pristina as part of the Balkan tour. The American ambassador in Pristina Jeffrey Hovenier was also present at the closed-door meeting between Osman and Rama.

"The further strengthening of cooperation between our two countries is for the benefit of our citizens and for the benefit of our common Euro-Atlantic future", Osmani wrote on social networks.

It is unclear whether Rama will meet with Prime Minister Albin Kurti, who left his office while the head of the Albanian government was meeting with Osmani.

This morning, Rama paid an official visit to Skopje, from where he responded to Kurt's rejection by saying that "the door is not closed even to an enemy".

However, it remains to be seen if the two heads of government will meet today, as according to the agenda, Rama will stay in Pristina and the next day he will leave for Bosnia and Herzegovina.
