Opposition protest

An opposition protest in the capital has begun a few moments ago, despite the bad weather and already heavy traffic.

Once again, democratic militants led by their MPs have blocked the main axes in Tirana.

Currently, several groups have gathered at the intersection of "Willson" Square, "Zogu i Zi" and "Elbasani" Street.

Traffic, already heavy due to the end-of-year holidays, is completely blocked on these axes.

The protest is also attended by the leader of the Democratic Party of Albania, Sali Berisha. 1,400 police officers are involved in the protest.
