Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Ferit Hoxha, says that Albania and Greece will go to international courts regarding a maritime agreement, although he did not give a date.
In a press conference, Hoxha stated that today, both countries enjoy the best relations.
"The court has ruled and this is not in dispute. After that, an extraordinary job was done by my predecessors. Today we are in the best relations with Greece. If we open the chapters, we have the agreement of 27 countries, including Greece. This reflects the quality of relations with Greece. I have found the willingness to move things forward. Democracy has no borders, no limits. On these issues, we will continue. The most difficult issues, like the sea agreement, first with Greece, we have agreed. We will go to international courts. We have agreed on this in principle, I cannot say a date. There are a number of issues that take their time," he stressed.
