The Prime Minister of Montenegro, Milojko Spajić , has publicly warned of the presence of a coordinated hybrid activity aimed at destabilizing the country and blocking its progress towards integration into the European Union.
Through a statement on the social network X, Spajić announced that Montenegrin authorities have serious operational data, according to which the closure of new chapters in negotiations with the EU is expected to be accompanied by hybrid attacks, which are suspected of involving officials from at least two countries in the region.
The head of the Montenegrin government is moving that these efforts aim to destabilize the country through support from certain political actors and part of the local media scene.

However, Spajić assured that these interventions will not succeed in changing the course or stopping Montenegro's European integration.
Although Prime Minister Spajić chose not to mention the suspected countries by name, local media have shed light on the background to his statement.
The Montenegrin newspaper " Vijesti ", referring to confidential sources, reported that the two countries in the region that the prime minister was indirectly talking about regarding hybrid activity are Serbia and Albania./ Vijesti
