Albanian-American activist Evi Kokalari

The Albanian-American activist Evi Kokalari has declared that she has reported to the American FBI a friend of former Prime Minister Sali Berisha, whom she says threatened her with death.

Kokalari revealed that he was threatened by Berisha's friend, because he did not share the same opinion with him.

She further says that considering the person who threatened her, and the "capacity to do it" she decided to report him to the FBI.

Kokalari has shown earlier on social networks that she has received threats because of her opinions and comments regarding the political situation in the country.

“Ah, remind me to tell you about a friend of ours, actually more of yours, who actually tried to scare me in the street because I told him that you might be an idol for them, not necessarily for me.

I reported it to the FBI as I had witnesses, because as an American, I have no reason to leave myself exposed to people who not only threaten my life, but also have the capacity to do so," says Kokalari.
