Candidate for Prime Minister against Rama? DP leader: I don't promise a golden spoon, but...

The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, during a virtual conversation with his followers on social media, was asked if he would run for prime minister against Edi Rama.

The leading democrat responded by saying that the next prime minister will be determined by the Albanians, adding that his return would be the most successful.

Berisha said that he does not promise a golden spoon, but emphasized that he will present a program where Albanians will be the best paid in the region.

"Who will be prime minister will be determined by the citizens, but I tell the Albanians that the third return of Sali Berisha will be his most successful return.  It will be the most positive experience - the mistakes made.  It will be the Albanians who will determine their next prime minister, I will present a program with which I want to see the best paid people in the region, not with golden spoons, I want to realize a distribution where as many Albanians as possible enjoy public assets and public funds", said Berisha.
