Will Basha be part of the DP lists in the 2025 elections? Here's how
Sali Berisha

The Chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has ruled out any possibility that his former predecessor,  Lulzim Basha, will be on the lists of this political force in the elections of May 11, 2025.

At the weekly press conference, he said Basha could be on the DP lists just as much as the SP minister, Taulant Balla, could be.

"Here are all kinds of possibilities. As much as Taulant Balla could be. The two of them got into a lot of trouble with each other. I'm not just referring to the Toyota Yaris," Berisha said.

But while ruling out the possibility of Basha running, Berisha did not say the last word on his official departure from the parliamentary group.

Berisha himself has officially returned to the DP group in the Assembly, while Basha also appears there.

" We will leave Taulant Balla's Siamese brother with Taulant Balla . The registry doesn't matter, he is like being Taulant Balla's Siamese twin ," Berisha said.
