Democratic Party leader Sali Berisha has commented on the appointment of former DP MP, Zheni Gjergji , as head of the Elbasan Regional Hospital.

A move that surprised many Albanians, which Berisha describes as a betrayal of democratic citizens.

According to Berisha, the former MP has joined the party of crime, breaking the trust of those who voted for her.

Berisha emphasizes that any individual who violates this belief is automatically excluded from this political force. 

"This is not a report of these individuals with Sali Berisha, but with those who voted for and supported them. One thing I can say is that for Berisha, all those who trample on that trust and support are automatically outside this political force because 99.9% of those who supported them are unemployed in difficult conditions but did not leave. They have served these very few, 3-4 people in total, so they make a decision, move to the party of crime, to which they belong and that's it. This is the comment not only for him but for all of them, there are 3-4 in total in Albania, there may be even more.", said Berisha.

Former DP MP Zheni Gjergji announced yesterday that she had accepted the appointment as director of the 'Dr. Xhaferr Kongoli' Regional Hospital in Elbasan.

In her announcement, Gjergji emphasized that it was not an easy political choice, but a deeply professional decision.
