Prime Minister Edi Rama has once again continued his remarks on social media with journalists.
This time he responded to a journalist who mocked Rama's statements according to which garbage and waste had also contributed to the flooding of Durrës.
While the journalist emphasizes that if the Tirana incinerator were to function, Rama writes that the journalist was blaming the incinerator for the plastic bottles and bags that are thrown on the streets and block the drainage channels.
Rama's reaction:
The commentator is a journalist whose name I have omitted because I am not interested in any personal controversy, but the scandalous fact that a spokesperson for public opinion, with abject ignorance (I am not talking about ethics or Albanian writing because then the demand for it will increase greatly) tells citizens that the Tirana incinerator is to blame for the plastic bottles and bags that are thrown onto the streets of Albania, which with the wind and then with the waters of the rivers become extraordinary lumps and regularly fall down and block the mouths of drainage channels or pollute the beaches and seas...
Normally, a journalist does not hate, does not slander, does not disinform, he is reading, getting informed and informing, but unfortunately the first type increases and increases (just like the flow of plastic) in the information channels, while the second type decreases and the public is flooded daily by the flow of hatred, slander and disinformation!
Easy, hating, slandering, disinforming is easy, because there is no need to read, learn, understand the truth, and be fair and well-articulated, while the opposite, uh, the opposite takes a lot of work and effort.
