The Freedom Party has issued a message of thanks to the citizens who chose to support it in the May 11 parliamentary elections, from which it emerged with two MPs, namely Erisa Xhixho and Tedi Blushi.

The latter thanked the 8,000 voters of Meta in Tirana, who was on the open coalition list with the DP, and remained outside parliament.

Among other things, he says that the Freedom Party, in parallel with the analysis of the elections, will continue the opposition battle. Blushi hinted that Meta will not take the mandate of MP, saying that his causes will now be defended by "his representatives in Parliament."

On behalf of the Freedom Party, I would like to express my deepest gratitude to over 8,000 honest and patriotic citizens who voted on May 11 for Ilir Metaj, remaining loyal to the values ​​of freedom and democracy, and ignoring with great patriotic courage and courage all kinds of pressures from the Drug State.

For the Freedom Party, they are not just voters, but heroes, symbols of freedom and unbroken character, who did not sell their dignity but fought with flesh and soul in the face of a criminal state machine that destroyed electoral standards, democracy, and the rule of law.

A special thank you to all members, supporters and all PL structures who were engaged in this electoral process, in Tirana and throughout Albania, who worked with extraordinary dedication and sacrifices in every unit and voting center, guaranteeing that their work, dedication, sacrifices and unforgettable contributions will always be appreciated, especially as contributions to democracy, to the state and to the country.

A special thank you to all the commissioners, counters and observers of the Freedom Party, who are continuing with persistence and high responsibility to count and protect every vote until the last one.

We will conduct an in-depth and transparent analysis of each unit and each voting center, not only to document the electoral massacre that occurred, but also the role and mission of each individual.

The opposition Freedom Party's battle will continue with determination against this misgovernment, which has today ranked Albania the most corrupt and poorest country in Europe.

The major causes, for which Ilir Metaj has fought and will always fight, will be defended with a strong voice, like never before, by the Freedom Party and its representatives in Parliament, Municipal Councils and everywhere.

No one can stop Ilir Meta and the Freedom Party in their patriotic mission to protect the national interest, to strengthen democracy and the rule of law, in defense of the free vote and the major causes for which we have fought and will always fight, regardless of the sacrifices that will be required.
