Counting for preferential vote in Fier closes, Zegjine Çaushi heads to Parliament (Results)

The preferential vote counting process in Fier closed this afternoon, thus concluding the count for the entire Fier region.

From the Socialist Party, 12 deputies are going to the Assembly of the next four years. In addition to the five deputies from the closed list, there are 7 others from the open list who managed to win the mandate. Zegjine Çeushi, who became known for her remarks with Gazment Bardhi, also managed to retain her mandate, thus gaining the status of a legislator for the first time.

Meanwhile, out of five candidates who were on the closed list of the Democratic Party - Coalition for Greater Albania, only four of them won the mandate after 42,693 votes collected: Gazment Bardhi, Luan Baçi, Brunilda Haxhiu and Saimir Korreshi.
