Ervin Salianji has reacted to the recent expulsions from the Democratic Party, stressing that “the losers have expelled the winners.” Salianji points out that “fear of competition is not leadership,” adding that the two councilors in Durrës “were expelled because they support the competition.”

"Losers exclude winners. Losers want to choose their voters. This is the great deformation of political behavior that has brought about the consecutive losses of the opposition. Instead of returning to the foundation, to the vote to start the path to victory, they exclude the Democrats. It is unimaginable that in 2026 there is leadership with this mindset, the exclusion of the chairman of the group of advisors and the secretary of the Durrës branch, two contributors and sacrificers for years in the party, shows depression and fear! Fear of the race is not leadership! The two advisors in Durrës were excluded because they support an idea: the race. This is not strength. This is fear. The Democratic Party is not private property. It belongs to the Democrats and the Democrats are not excluded! They vote, they choose!", writes Salianji on social networks.

The Democratic Party today expelled Dritan Burgian and Arlind Boshku, who are known to be supporters of Ervin Salianj. The decision to expel them was signed by the Secretary General of the Democratic Party, Flamur Noka.
