Socialist MP Erion Braçe stated in the Assembly that the problems and confusions with properties in Vlora, but also throughout Albania, have started since 1993 with Law 7501.
"In 2009, the head of the Agency for the Restitution and Compensation of Property was someone you know very well. Since you mentioned his name, I was the only one in this room who, in the years 2000-2003, was the first to denounce the looting of property in Vlora and especially in this territory in question."
"You can open the newspaper Zëri i Popullit, it has been published for 200 days in a row, about what happened from 1993 onwards, especially with that shameful process of converting land that was a forest fund into agricultural land, to be divided by 7501 for all those who today say we are homogeneous Greeks," said Brace.
He requested the presence of ministers during the discussions at the plenary session of the Assembly, emphasizing that this would allow MPs to more directly address their concerns after "Green Week".
According to Braçe, parliamentary sessions are intended precisely as a space where MPs, after field meetings, can raise issues with representatives of the executive.
"I'm always the one to blame, there's no problem. To be honest, these sessions are held so that all the MPs who come from the Green Party raise their concerns in the presence of the ministers. Without their presence, it seems to me like we're talking to ourselves."
I am looking for the Minister of Agriculture a lot, but I cannot find him. Last Monday, I and some farmers sent an official letter from the Parliament to the directorate of the National Agricultural Fund for Agriculture, drawing attention to the fact that for months urea with a lower nitrogen percentage than the allowed one has been sold on the market. It is an essential fertilizer for cereals.
"I have not received any reaction from the Ministry of Agriculture. I want to say this to both the minister and the head of the AKU," said Braçe.
