The Constitutional Court has rejected the DP's request, which sought the incompatibility of the mandate of Socialist MP Vullnet Sinaj, whom it accuses of having benefited from 36 thousand euros from the state budget through businesses.

On March 5, the DP and the Freedom Party addressed the Constitutional Court with a request to declare the decision of January 30, 2025 in parliament, for not sending the motion to the Constitutional Court from the Assembly regarding Sinaj's mandate, as incompatible.

The Democratic Party considers the mandate of the socialist legislator to be incompatible and for this reason it has addressed, with the signatures of 14 deputies, including Erisa Xhixho, representative of the Freedom Party, that the Constitutional Court oblige the Assembly of Albania to send to this institution the "motion to ascertain the incompatibility of the mandate of deputy Vullnet Sinaj".
