Foreign media have reported the news of the official indictment of former President Ilir Meta.
From the Associated Press, to American and Australian media, the news of the communication of charges against Meta, specifically money laundering, corruption and concealment of assets, has been reported.
"The charges were communicated to Meta in a 192-page report by anti-corruption prosecutors, lawyer Kujtim Cakrani told reporters. The prosecutors belong to the Special Structure Against Corruption and Organized Crime, or SPAK, which deals with cases involving senior political and state officials," foreign newspapers write.
