French President Emmanuel Macron has shared a message on the social network X after the meeting held at the Elysee Palace with Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama.

Macron states that France "reaffirms its support for Albania's European integration and for pursuing the necessary reforms to advance on its European path."

"Welcome dear Edi Rama.

The very positive momentum in relations between Albania and France in the fields of innovation, education, culture and tourism, testifies to our closeness.

We want to give it a new impetus, while continuing to strengthen our economic and defense cooperation.

"France reaffirms its support for Albania's European integration and for pursuing the reforms necessary to advance on its European path," Macron wrote in X.
