FOTOLAJM/ Spiropali 'lecture' Rama about parliament!

Prime Minister Edi Rama returned to the Assembly hall, after the speech of Sali Berisha.

He was photographed exchanging some thoughts with Elisa Spiropali, who was explaining something to him by hand.

The Parliament of Albania approved today the SPAK's request to arrest MP Arben Ahmetaj.

With 117 votes in favor and 3 abstentions, the deputies authorized the SPAK to also exercise control in the apartment of the former deputy prime minister Ahmetaj.

The deputies who abstained were Fatmir Mediu, Vangjel Dule and Agron Duka, all the other deputies who were present voted in favor.

With this decision, the Assembly removes the immunity of Ahmetaj, but the latter continues to hold the mandate of the deputy.

Ahmetaj's mandate can be removed in the case of a final decision by the court or if he resigns.
