The leader of the Opportunity Party, Agron Shehaj, has reacted after the success of his political force in the May 11 elections, where the Opportunity Party managed to secure two mandates in the Tirana district.

In a reaction from the diaspora vote counting facilities, Shehaj described the result as a new moment for the opposition, emphasizing that the 'Mundësia' party is the opposition of the 21st century.

"The impossible happened."

Despite the fear sown night after night, despite a system set up to not let anyone new come up, despite propaganda, power, and the establishment.

We fought, we faced, and we succeeded.

Two mandates. 50 thousand citizens who trusted us. No empty promises. No games. No bargaining. No "give me what I give you".

We have broken a wall that seemed impassable.

But the real work begins now.

We will be there, with voice, with facts, with perseverance. For every citizen who voted for us. For every Albanian who expects more.

For all those who have followed us from afar, who have hoped, but not fully believed that change was possible...

There is no more time to stand by as spectators or wait for a savior.

Come! Join us!

With your support, anything is possible.

The Opportunity Party is the opposition of the 21st century. Honest. True. Modern. Determined.

An opposition that looks to the future, a future that includes us all.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart to every voter, observer, coordinator, candidate, diaspora candidate, Opportunity Party ambassadors, meeting participants, and all those who have supported us, openly or silently.

"Thank you everyone!" Shehaj wrote on social media.

According to the updated CEC announcement, Shehaj received a total of 43,069 votes nationally. The leader of the Opportunity Party secured two mandates in the next parliament in the Tirana district alone, where he received 21,705 votes.
