Macron's statement on Albania, integration expert: In 25 years, I have never read something so positive about a Balkan country

European integration expert, Shenoll Muharremi, has analyzed French President Emmanuel Macron's statement on Albania.

In a Facebook post, he writes that he has "never read anything so positive about the Balkans."

"I have been actively involved in the European agenda for 25 years. I have never read anything so positive about a country from the Balkans! Bravo Albania!"

"It is extremely important that Albania is part of Europe. This country is clearly an entry point to the Western Balkans and, more broadly, a key point in the Mediterranean and in Europe. Therefore, I encourage you to invest in Albania, because it has strong leadership. I am not saying this because Rama is my friend, but because he has brought results.

"In the next two years, with a clear mandate, Albania will be part of the European Union. Be assured that we, as Europe, will deliver the expected results, together with Germany, to achieve this agenda. Therefore, please invest in Albania and in Europe ," Macron told the participants in this forum, Muharremi writes.
