"The issue of the sea will be resolved quickly", Dendias meets Rama:
Prime Minister Edi Rama and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Greece, Nikos Dendias,

The Greek Foreign Minister, Nikos Dendias, said that the process of concluding the Sea Agreement with Albania is only a matter of time.

In the meeting with the head of the government, Edi Rama, who is in Athens to participate in the Delphi economic forum, Dendias stated that Albania has agreed in principle to the agreement. Greece seems to have been satisfied with this agreement as long as Dendias expressed himself with euphoric notes.

According to him, the draft project will be specified in the following days and will then be submitted to Albania.

“Yes, it will be unlocked. I believe sooner than we think. The story of the agreement in principle with Albania is something I am particularly happy about. I could also say proud. Albania has agreed in principle and here we have to put a name, Edi Rama agreed in principle. How it will be specifically specified in the draft project for the Hague International Court, we will have to see in the framework of the authorization that will be given to the Rama government by the Albanian president. But in principle, the agreement is excellent, an example agreement for Turkey" , said Dendias.

Dendias did not fail to mention Rama's friendship with Erdogan, saying that the same agreement they are making with Albania will be proposed to Turkey as well. According to the Greek minister, Greece has no plans to aggravate relations with Turkey, explaining that the issue will be resolved.

"Let's not forget that Edi Rama is a close friend of President Erdogan, Albania is a friendly country of Turkey. I believe that it can be a friendly country of Greece as well. I don't consider it a multi-zero game. But Albania, Turkey's friend, agreed, made an agreement with exactly the same proposal we made to Turkey. I think that this fact should be reassuring for the Turkish side, as far as Greek intentions are concerned", said Dendias.
